OSSD/Light Curtain Safety Relays
Category Selection
Safety light curtains are used extensively for access control and intrusion detection. They utilize an array of photoelectric beams to sense intrusion into a protected area and are available for finger, hand, and body protection. OSSD/light curtain safety relays are designed specifically to handle light curtain circuits and will reliably remove power from dangerous equipment when needed.

IDEM SCR31P Series OSSD/Light Curtain Controllers
IDEM Viper series OSSD/light curtain safety controllers offer enhanced LED diagnostics and simplified wiring. The SCR31P series' force guided relays ensure a single fault does not lead to loss of the safety function.
