Two-Hand Safety Control Relays
Pressing, punching, and cutting/shearing equipment have hazardous closing movements that can cause severe injuries to operating personnel. Two-hand safety control relays monitor the actuation of two buttons installed in a control panel, that must be depressed simultaneously, before allowing the equipment to operate. These two-hand control panels are mounted in a location away from harm and ensure that the operator is clear of the equipment and out of harm's way.

Dold BG5933 / BH5933 Series Two-Hand Safety Control Relays
Dold two-hand safety control relays are used with two-hand control panels for reliable switching of hazardous equipment.
- Inputs for 2 pushbuttons, each with 1 N.C. and 1 N.O. contact
- Output options: 2 N.O. contacts and 1 N.C. contact, or 3 N.O. contacts and 1 N.C. contact
- Feedback circuit to monitor external contactors used for reinforcement of contacts
- Overvoltage and short-circuit protection
- LED indicators for power and state of operation

Dold Multi-Function Safety Relays
Dold multi-function safety relays provide user selectable safety functions and can be used with various safety devices, including two-hand control panels.
- 2-channel UG6980 series uses the chosen function for both channels
- 2-channel UG6970 series can assign different function to each channel

IDEM's two-hand safety control relay protects operators and machinery during tasks that require the machine to be clear of all personnel. It is intended for use in safety circuits designed in accordance with EN60204-1.
