Rodless Slide Linear Position Sensors/Potentiometers

Rodless slide linear position sensors, designed for applications where installation length is limited, feature a cursor that rides within a channel along the top of the sensor housing to provide position feedback.

Linear potentiometers use a wiper that slides across a resistive element to provide resistance feedback; they are a low-cost option, but wear out over time and must be replaced
Gefran magnetostrictive linear position sensors provide contactless position feedback and are not subject to mechanical wear
