RFID coded tongue interlock safety switches fit sliding, hinged or lift-off machine guards and provide positively operated switching contacts and superior tamper-proof protection. With these models, both the solenoid must be energized and the RFID coding must match to release the tongue key.

IDEM and Comepi solenoid locking RFID tongue interlock safety switches provide robust position detection for moving guards and will remain locked until the solenoid voltage is applied to the switch. These switches can be used in conjunction with delay timers to provide the solenoid energize signal only after a pre-determined amount of time has passed.
