Submersible level sensors provide continuous liquid level measurement by sensing the hydrostatic pressure produced by the height of liquid above the sensor, and providing a 4-20 mA output signal compatible with PLCs, panel meters, data loggers, and other electronic equipment.

Category Selection
Submersible level sensors determine liquid height by measuring the pressure exerted on the sensor due to gravity acting on the fluid above it. This hydrostatic sensing method is an established technology noted for its high reliability, low installation cost, and simple engineering. It is one of the most popular methods of liquid level measurement. Submersible level sensors may be used in almost all liquid media, from water to pastes and sludges, providing reliable level measurement in the most challenging conditions.

FMX11 Series Submersible Level Sensors
Endress+Hauser Waterpilot FMX11 series submersible level sensors have a slim 22mm diameter stainless steel housing and a diaphragm protection cap, making them ideally suited for freshwater applications.
