Flowline ultrasonic liquid level sensors emit a sound impulse and measure the echo's return time from the material's surface. Unaffected by environments with dirty, sticky or scaling media, these sensors are available in contact and non-contact versions, with models designed for hazardous or high-condensation locations. Level switches detect the presence of liquids at a specific level.

Category Selection
Flowline general purpose and intrinsically safe ultrasonic liquid level sensors are non-contact sensors and switches ideal for applications with dirty, sticky, and scaling liquids. They are available with single- and multi-function capabilities, including continuous level measurement, switching, and control, and offer features such as:
- Flowline's innovative Reflective Technology (on select models) provides reliable level measurement in condensing environments.
- Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) transducers suitable for corrosive environments
- Adjustable fail-safes
- Automatic temperature compensation for reliable and consistent level measurement

- Rugged aluminum, polycarbonate, or polypropylene housings
Intrinsically safe ultrasonic level switches can be mounted through a tank wall or inside a tank to provide high- or low-level detection of chemical, solvent, or low viscosity petroleum-based liquids.
