Fan hoods provide extra protection against direct water splash, extreme outdoor or harsh environmental climatic influences, and serve as a protective cover for filter fans, and intake / exit filters. Hoods can be removed for cleaning and filter change without opening the enclosure.

Fan Hoods
Stego and Seifert fan hoods increase the protection class and serve as a protective cover for enclosure filter fans, intake grilles and exhaust grilles. Hoods can be used for protection against water projected by a hose and extreme climatic influences when the enclosure is located outdoors.
- The additional protection can increase compatible fan protection up to UL Type 4X
- Easy hood removal allows for easy cleaning and filter change without opening the enclosure
- Stainless-steel or carbon steel construction, depending on the model
- Food-safe silicone seal or stainless steel models
