Contactors are capable of switching higher power loads such as motors, lighting, and electric heaters. These types of applications are found in commercial buildings, industrial equipment, and vehicles. IEC compliant contactors feature a compact and modular configuration, and are available in standard sizes with amperage ratings up to 400A.
