IEC Magnetic Contactors
Contactors are specialty horsepower-rated relays used to switch higher-current electrical circuits. They are ideal for load control and are typically used for motor applications where overcurrent protection is not required. Fuji Electric, Schneider Electric, WEG Electric, and our own AutomationDirect and IronHorse brand contactors are available in a wide selection of AC/DC coil voltages and amperage ratings.
- IEC miniature contactors offer a smaller footprint, available in capacities up to 22A
- IEC safety contactors control the power (up to 125A) to machinery and equipment in safety applications
- IEC contactors are perfectly suited for switching heavy loads up to 400A
- Accessories include auxiliary contacts, interlocks, reversing connectors, surge suppressors, star-delta timing relays, wiring lugs, and terminal shrouds
