Motor bases provide a simple, effective way to mount AC motors while allowing proper positioning and belt tensioning in belt-driven systems. Available in adjustable, pivot, and automatic designs, these bases help simplify installation, improve drivetrain alignment, and support reliable operation across a wide range of motor frame sizes and industrial applications.
Choose from manually adjustable bases for precise motor positioning and routine belt-tension adjustment, pivot-style bases for installations where sliding movement is not practical, or automatic bases that continuously compensate for changing operating conditions. Designed for use with conveyors, fans, pumps, compressors, and other belt-driven equipment, motor bases are available to support numerous frame sizes and mounting requirements while helping reduce maintenance time and extending belt life.

IronHorse MBS series AC motor bases support NEMA or IEC motors, offering manual-adjustment fixed bases, pivot bases for above- or below-load mounting, and automatic bases for continuous belt-tension compensation.
- MBS-SFBASE single-bolt fixed bases support NEMA 56 through 215 and IEC 90S through 132M frame motors
- MBS-DFBASE double-bolt fixed bases provide two adjustment points and support NEMA 254 through 447 and IEC 160M through 280M frame motors
- MBS-PBASE pivot bases include three models for NEMA frame sizes 56 through 280, and IEC frame sizes 90 through 180
- MBS-ABASE automatic bases compensate for load changes, centrifugal belt expansion, and normal belt stretch and support NEMA frame sizes 56 through 286 and IEC frame sizes 90 through 180
