Brake Motors
Brake motors have a brake assembly connected to the motor for fast stopping and holding of a load. These motors are most commonly used for applications involving conveyors that need to stop quickly such as metering belts or loads that will be affected by gravity such as incline/decline conveyors or industrial elevators. Applying voltage to the brake coil releases the brake, while removing voltage from the brake coil engages the brake.
