Conveyor/Farm Duty
Farm Duty / Purpose Motors
Farm Duty motors are designed for farm equipment and process applications requiring high starting torque and moderate starting current. "Farm Duty" is a term used to define these motors.
- Used to power agitators, augers, compressors, conveyors, feeders, hay hoists, grinders, blowers and other farm equipment
- Used in general purpose applications for heavier materials and applications
- Typically larger and more robust than general purpose rolled steel motors
