An exhausting valve or cylinder port can make a lot of noise, and contaminants can enter a pneumatic system though an unprotected opening. Exhaust silencers quiet the sound of the escaping air and protect the system from dirt and debris. NITRA silencers are available in brass cone, brass flat, and plastic, with NPT, R (BSPT) or M5 threaded connections.
