Variable Area Mechanical Flow Meters

ProSense FG1 series variable area mechanical flow meters offer a low-cost solution for providing a quick, easy-to-read visual flow rate indication for water or petroleum-based fluids. These inline flow meters use the pressure created by a sharp-edged orifice to move a spring-loaded piston with an indicator along a graduated flow scale. Two adjustable flow limit pointers are available to provide preset visual indications of high, low, or normal flow rates.
