Panel interface connectors mount on a cabinet to provide pass-through connections for safe interfacing with a PLC and other devices within the cabinet without opening the cabinet door. Various combinations of power outlets and communication ports are available.

Panel Interface Connectors
Panel interface connectors (PICs) are pass-through units that mount to the outside of electrical control panels containing PLCs or other industrial control devices. They allow for safe and easy connection /disconnection of power and communication to devices within the enclosure.

Pre-Configured Panel Interface Connectors
ZipPort pre-configured Panel Interface Connectors (PICs) are built with a durable gasketed aluminum housing and are available with various power and communication port combinations.
- Communications-only PICs with single port
- Combination PIC units in various configurations of power outlets (single, duplex, or GFCI) plus communication ports that may include D-sub, RJ45 Ethernet, RJ12, and/or USB configurations
- All panel mount connections are normally straight through, pin 1 to pin 1, etc.
- 3A circuit breaker included to limit the power output of the PIC unit
- NEMA / UL Type 12, 4, & 4x
- IP65
- RoHS compliant
Modular Panel Interface Connectors
Murrelektronik Modlink panel interface components are modular, allowing you to mix and match connections to build the panel interface connector for your specific application. With this easy-to-assemble system, simply pick the best insert(s) for your application, frame(s) to mount the insert(s), and, if needed, add optional touch protection cover(s) for increased protection.
- Inserts with various pre-configured data and/or power combinations
- Two identification tags per insert
- Connections available include:
- RJ45 Cat5e
- Female/male 15-pin D-sub HD15
- Female/female USB-A
- Female/female 9-pin D-sub
- RJ12
- Single 120 VAC outlet
- A blank insert and a model with a 3A circuit breaker built in are also available
- Single or double frames with transparent, metallic, or gray covers
- Locking plug-in knob mechanism ensures sealed protection
- Frames are mounted directly on enclosure opening
- IP65 protection
- Optional black ABS plastic touch protection covers provide IP20 protection inside
