Productivity Remote I/O
With the P1-UX universal bus coupler, low-cost Productivity1000 I/O can be used as high-performance field I/O for any compatible PLC platform, including third-party and mixed-control environments. A wide array of discrete, analog, and specialty I/O modules are supported.

In many industrial facilities, field devices are spread across multiple production areas, making traditional point-to-point wiring back to a centralized PLC costly and difficult to manage. Instead of routing every sensor and actuator directly to the controller, Productivity remote I/O bus couplers and expansion modules can be placed closer to the equipment, where they collect and exchange data with the PLC using a single network connection. By moving I/O closer to the process, cable requirements are minimized, panel congestion is reduced, and system expansion becomes much simpler. The result is a more scalable control architecture that lowers installation effort, streamlines maintenance, and provides greater flexibility when equipment layouts change over time.
