Rotating paddle level switches provide point level measurement of solid materials using a motor-driven rotating paddle. The switches are actuated when the monitored material covers the blade, impeding its rotation. AC and DC powered versions are available, as well as hazardous location models.

Rotating Paddle Level Switches
ProSense PLS series rotating paddle level switches are point level switches for dry, granular bulk solids. These contact level switches use a motor-driven rotating paddle to detect the level. The paddles freely rotate in the absence of material. When the monitored material covers the paddle blades and impedes their rotation, the switch contacts engage to signal that material is present. These rugged level switches are highly reliable, can operate in harsh environments, and are unaffected by vibration, dust, or moisture.
- Models available in 100, 200, or 300mm shaft lengths, or 2000mm cuttable rope versions
- SPDT relay output in contact ratings up to 6A
- 24 VDC, 115 VAC, and 230 VAC operating voltage options
- Adjustable switching sensitivity
- Models with Factory Mutual (FM) certification for Dust Ignition Proof, Class II, III, Division 1, Groups EFG applications
- Housing can be rotated 360° for alignment after installation
- IP66 protection rating
