BRX Remote I/O
Many control applications consist of machines or subsystems distributed throughout a facility that communicate with a central PLC. Wiring each I/O point directly back to the PLC becomes impractical when numerous long cable runs are required, increasing installation costs and complexity. BRX remote I/O modules can be installed near the equipment they serve and communicate all I/O signals back to the PLC over a single Ethernet or serial communication link. This distributed I/O approach reduces wiring costs, shortens installation time, simplifies troubleshooting, and makes future wiring changes or equipment relocation significantly easier.

Accessories for the BRX remote I/O platform include terminal block kits, access cover kits, and labels. For module configuration, Do-more Designer software is a free download; a software USB drive can be purchased if needed.
