Stepping systems marry high-performance microstepping drives with high-torque stepper motors to provide simple and accurate control of position and velocity where open-loop control is acceptable and cost is a factor. Stepper motors are available in single and dual-shaft models, as well as linear actuators, along with stepper power supplies and interface cables.

Stepping systems provide simple and accurate control of position and speed where open loop control and cost are considerations (select models offer closed-loop control for even better accuracy).
- Pulses (or "step" and "direction" signals) from a PLC or other indexer motion controller are "translated" by the microstepping drive into precise movement of the stepping motor shaft
- Stepper drives accept pulse inputs; some can be commanded by an analog speed signal or by serial communication
- Serial communications control allows internal indexing (point-to-point moves), velocity control, run-to-sensor, etc
- Stepping motors use 2-phase technology with 200 full steps per revolution or 1.8" per full step

Single-shaft Stepper Motors
Square frame single-shaft step motor style produces high torque to handle a wide range of automation applications.
- 2-phase bipolar (NEMA 42 can also be wired unipolar)
- 1.8° per step, 200 steps per revolution
- Standard NEMA frame sizes (14, 17, 23, 34 & 42)
IP65 Stepper Motors
IP65 rated stepping motors are suitable for many washdown applications, as they are fully sealed against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets.
- Available in single-shaft models (only)
- NEMA 17, 23, and 34 frame sizes
Dual-shaft and Encoder Stepper Motors
IP40 dual-shaft square frame stepper motors provide a holding torque up to 4532 oz-in. Certain NEMA sizes also offer a programmable encoder pre-installed.

Stepper Motor Linear Actuators
Linear actuators are stepper motors that incorporate a lead screw as the rotor, which translates motor torque into linear thrust. Use with undriven linear slides or linear shafts/linear supports to create simple, economical linear motion solutions.
- NEMA 17 and NEMA 23 frame units available in a range of lengths and lead screw pitches
- Up to 193 lbs of thrust and speeds up to 18 inches/second
- Models available with single shafts and encoder-ready dual shafts

Ever Motion Solutions Titanio series stepper drives provide peak performance levels for both open-loop and closed-loop control. Control modes include Pulse/Direction, CW Pulse/CCW Pulse, or A/B Quadrature. Dynamic smoothing, software-configurable filtering reduces jerk.
Power Supplies and Regen
Linear unregulated power supplies provide DC power with fused overcurrent protection, and an auxiliary 5VDC supply to power control logic. Switching power supplies are suitable for applications without large fluctuations in load, or aggressive deceleration or regen requirements.
