DirectLOGIC (Micro to Small, Brick & Modular PLCs) - Relay Outputs
Category Selection
For use with higher current control devices, PLC relay output modules function just as an electromechanical control relay would. An external source is supplied to the relay contacts on the module and the PLC CPU will control the opening or closing of these contacts based on the logic coded in the CPU.

DL05 Series PLC Relay Outputs
Select DirectLOGIC 05 series PLCs provide 6 built-in relay output points capable of supporting up to 2A/point. One relay output module can be added to the DL05 system for an addiitional 4 or 8 relay outputs.
- 4-point relay output module supports 6-48 VDC and 6-208 VAC voltage levels with both Form A and Form C contacts capable of up to 3A/point
- 8-point relay output module supports 6-24 VDC and 6-240 VAC voltage levels with Form A contacts capable of up to 1A/point or 4A/common
- DL05 PLC expansion I/O modules can be used with the DL06 PLC and vice versa
DL06 Series PLC Relay Outputs
DirectLOGIC 06 series PLCs with relay outputs provide 16 built-in relay output points capable of supporting up to 2A/point. Four additional relay output modules can be added to the DL06 system for up to an extra 32 relay outputs.
- 4-point relay output module supports 6-48 VDC and 6-208 VAC voltage levels with both Form A and Form C contacts capable of up to 3A/point
- 8-point relay output module supports 6-24 VDC and 6-240 VAC voltage levels with Form A contacts capable of up to 1A/point or 4A/common
- DL06 PLC expansion I/O modules can be used with the DL05 PLC and vice versa
DL205 Series PLC Relay Outputs
DL205 CPUs do not include embedded I/O and require separate modules to receive and transmit I/O signals. Several relay output modules are available, providing 4 to 12 Form A (SPST) relay contacts.
- 4-point relay output module supports 5-30 VDC or 5-240 VAC signals with 4A/point or 8A/module
- 8-point relay modules provide 5-30 VDC, 12-28 VDC, 5-240 VAC, or 12-250 VAC rated contacts with up to 10A/common
- 12-point relay module supports 5-30 VDC or 5-240 VAC signals with 1.5A/point or 3A/common
DL305 Series PLC Relay Outputs
Each DirectLOGIC 305 relay output module adds 8 AC/DC switching outputs to the PLC.
- 8-point relay modules have 12-30 VDC or 12-220 VAC rated contacts and provide up to 10A/point using 2 Form C (SPDT) relays and 6 Form A (SPST) relays
DL405 Series PLC Relay Outputs
Relay output modules for the DL405 series controller are available in 8- or 16-point versions and can support very high current applications.
- 8-point relay modules provide 6-24 VDC, 12-24 VDC, 6-240 VAC, and 12-240 VAC rated contacts with up to 10A/point and 40A/module
- 16-point relay module supports 6-24 VDC and 6-240 VAC signals with 1A/point or 5A/common
