DirectLOGIC remote I/O controller modules can be installed at the remote device and communicate all I/O signals back to the main PLC using a single communication cable.
DirectLOGIC PLCs are not intended for new system development, please consider our latest lines of controllers (Do-more, Productivity, or CLICK) for new installations.

DL205 Series PLC Remote I/O Modules
The DL205 system offers Ethernet remote I/O utilizing a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection between the CPU base and remote I/O bases.
- The H2-ERM100 module is placed in the main PLC rack and communicates with up to 16 H2-EBC100 modules placed in the CPU slot of each remote base
- The H2-ERM100 is configured with the ERM Workbench software utility
- H2-EBC100 modules support all DL205 discrete and analog I/O modules, the H2-SERIO(-4) and H2-CTRIO(2) specialty modules, and are configured using the NetEdit3 software utility
DL405 Series PLC Remote I/O Modules
The DL405 PLC system offers 38.4K baud serial or 10/100 Mbps Ethernet remote I/O options.
- The D4-RM and D4-RS modules work together to provide the serial connection between the local CPU and up to 7 remote bases per channel
- With the D4-RM module installed in the local base and the D4-RS module installed in the CPU slot of one or more remote bases, up to 1536 total I/O points are possible
- H4-ERM100 and H4-EBC modules create the Ethernet link between the local CPU and up to 16 remote I/O bases with each H4-EBC supporting up to 1280 I/O points
- H4-EBC modules are installed in the CPU slot of each remote base and communicate with the H4-ERM100 located in the main PLC base chassis
