Process safety relays are critical components in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), providing reliable switching, isolation, monitoring, and diagnostics for safety-critical circuits. Commonly used in process industries such as oil & gas, chemical, power generation, and manufacturing, these relays interface field devices with PLCs, DCS platforms, and safety controllers to help maintain safe operation during normal and fault conditions.
G.M. International process safety relays are purpose-built for Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) in Division 2 hazardous locations. This series of high-capacity relays supports a variety of applications including Fire and Gas Systems (FGS). Compatible with line-monitored PLC and DCS output cards, they help maintain safety integrity while reducing nuisance trips.
