BRX Series PLCs (Stackable Micro Brick): Do-more Designer Videos
Detailed Product Overview
(VID-DD-0037) - This video gives basic information on Using the HALT "Halt Program of Task" instruction in the Do-more Designer software. It presents information that is commonly missed by users. This WILL NOT be a complete tutorial for the instruction but rather a supplement to the help file and customer experience.
** Software Version used in this video: Do-more Designer 2.0.3
This instruction is used to Halt the operation of a Program or Task code block. Typically this instruction is used by some type of supervisory code that would terminate the execution of another Program or TASK. Now I do say Task, here, and this instruction can work for task but a non-yielding Task only runs for one scan, so it would make more since to just not execute Task instead of using a Halt instruction on it. Now the Halt instruction cannot halt the operation of the Main Program.
