BRX Series PLCs (Stackable Micro Brick): Do-more Designer Videos
Detailed Product Overview
(VID-DD-0002) - This video gives basic information on Using the DLWX "DirectLogic Network Write" instruction in the Do-more designer software. It presents information that is commonly missed by users. This WILL NOT be a complete tutorial for the instruction but rather a supplement to the help file and customer experience.
** Software Version used in this video: Do-more Designer 2.0
This instruction should only be used, to write to a Directlogic PLC. If you are using an ECOM or ecom100, as your master device, Slave ID is the only option you will have available. You will need to use Netedit tool to set up this ID. When using the internal Ethernet port, all three addressing options are available, but I find it best to use Fixed or variable addressing. This is the most common stumbling block, notice this instruction uses number of bytes and not number of addresses. These are the ways that this instruction can be triggered. I usually set the instruction for the following settings with a constant time of 1 second until I can verify I have good Communications. For more information on this instruction click here
